(Hong Kong, 7th May, 2021) Markus F. Jebsen, the Chairman of MF Jebsen International Limited, the exclusive designated dealer of Aston Martin sports cars in Hong Kong & Macau, will be donating, in support of the local wildlife and environment, one model from the special series Aston Martin Vantage Heritage Racing Edition.

This initiative is under Auction4Wildlife’s guidance in promoting awareness to wildlife conservation, environmental protection and climate change. The auction will be organized and supervised by the international auction house Bonhams, renowned for presenting world-class auctions of rare and significant collectors’ motor cars. To be held at Hong Kong’s most legendary hotel, The Peninsula Hong Kong, the Gulf Blue Vantage Heritage Edition sports car will be on display in the main lobby of the hotel.

50% of the proceeds from the auction will fund projects for the protection of endangered species and the restoration of the ecosystem locally by supporting a range of programmes run by Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG). The winning bidder will also be able to choose another beneficiary from a designated list of charity organizations, with nature conservation as the main focus, for the remaining 50%.

The Gulf Blue Edition Vantage, exclusive and only one in Hong Kong is part of the limited production of only twelve in the world. This unique Aston Martin Vantage, worth HK$1.6 million (excl. tax) is to be showcased from 7th May until 7th June 2021 in the iconic lobby of The Peninsula Hong Kong. The venue was selected not only because of The Peninsula’s long tradition and commitment to the luxury of travel and passion for automotive excellence, but also because the space provides such an iconic and chic setting for such an exclusive car.  During the showcase, guests and visitors of The Peninsula Hong Kong will be able to see the car first-hand and learn more about Aston Martin and their automotive legacy.

A highly distinctive vehicle designed by Aston Martin, in its finest tradition of undeniable leadership for international standards and excellence in manufacturing some of the most iconic and superior sports cars worldwide, the Gulf Blue Vantage is part of the special series featuring 6 liveries drawing inspiration from 100 years of Aston Martin’s involvement with motorsport.

With a starting price of HK$900,000, interested parties will be able to place their bid through the following link (https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/27251/).

In addition, a very special Aston Martin DB5, only one in Hong Kong, will be on display for the first time in the city.  Participation in the aforesaid auction will grant exclusive and limited access to preview the DB5, a sports coupé that has undeniably and throughout the last decades crossed paths and fused identity and spirit of secret agents.
